Need a benefit award letter urgently

I want to register on an OU course. However, to do this, I urgently need proof of my ESA benefit award.
It will take too long to get it sent out. Does anyone know if this is a walk in service that the jobcentre can provide?
Also, will they be able to sign a copy of my birth certificate?

I'm sure when i wanted that i took the Ou form into the benefits office. At first they didn't know what i was talking about but a more senior person came and signed it.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

You should have a copy of the latest award from April 2013 when they advised the new payments. That is your proof. The only thing that DWP can provide other than this is what is called a letter of entitlement, which is just a 1 page letter stating that you get ESA. Does not say which type, which OU may need to know.0
