BT to a 0% deal?

Hi Everyone,
Wondering if anyone else has come across this situation.
I have a NW cc with 0% on both purchases and BT. The purchases 0% runs out on 17th September, BT 0% has another 13 months.
I have a Barclaycard which have just offered me 12 months 0% on BT but must be transferred in August, so was thinking of moving some of the balance from my NW cc.
My question is, if I do the transfer, will it knock it off the purchases balance rather than the BT balance even though they are still at 0%? What I don't want to happen is to transfer the balance, pay the fee and then find it doesn't reduce the balance of the part that the 0% is due to end on quicker. Hope that makes sense!

read the statement that you get, this will advise how payments are applied to Statemented transactions first (before anything in that month), then apply to what has the highest rate of interest regardless of the date it has been applied to the account.
so what are the follow on rates for Purchases & BT's on the NW cc (I know MBNA show how the balances are split on the statement)..
Speak to natwest for absolute clarification, as the simplest approach may been to wait until september when the purchases offer expires (and so incurs a sligh amount of interest)...0
