Lemon shaped hat

Hi all,
I'm making a hat for a fancy dress party out of fleece, something I've done before with a pattern and found fairly easy to do.
The problem is I want it to be lemon shaped- so a bit more domed than usual with a little nub at the top. Any advice of how to do this? I was just going to alter the pattern slightly but I'm not sure whether the pieces will still fit together.
Thanks in advance and I realise this is a very specific question!

The pattern should still work after you've tweaked it. If you not sure make a paper mock up or look for a free pixie hat pattern online, they're vaguely lemon shaped.0

Thanks Cybi-Ping. I had to get it done for 9 August so I ended up doing a regular beanie hat (I didn't think of a pixie hat pattern- just went with the beanie as I'd made one before and figured it'd be easy!) I then got a few scraps of material, sewed them together and stuffed it to make a nub which I then sewed on top of the hat.
In retrospect I should have had a go at amending an existing pattern as I had loads of material spare, but I was concerned I'd run out of time.0
