in Credit cards
Hello
I need to get a new CC to pay for our upcoming wedding. Some of the things we need to pay for do not take credit credit cards. Can I do a bank transfer and if so will I be charged? i.e I need to pay by cash or cheque.
Thanks

If you need to borrow actual cash you need a card that supports what's called a "Super Balance Transfer".
The best cards for this are MBNA backed - you can ask them to transfer a given lump sum into your bank account, they charge a 4% fee and you get upto 26 months interest free to repay it depending on which card you go for.
The MBNA-Backed "Virgin Money" credit card offers the longest 0% deal on cash transfers into a current account:

They are quite strict though so you may not be accepted unless you already have a fruitful credit history with experiencing handling credit cards already, and little debt compared with your income.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
