I use kitchen cleaning wipes (my one non OS indulgence) or a magic eraser sponge. :)

    Hi,

The socket above the cooker has a lot of built up grease, i've managed to scrape the worst off but the smaller bits will need some kind of product. I'm a bit worried it might damage the electrics if it gets inside though, any ideas?

It's my mam's house so i'm being extra cautious!

Baby wipes work well at degreasing things you don't want to get too wet.

    Worked perfectly
  • Any kind of solvent used in moderation I have found works with grimy sockets.

Just be careful that some take the red paint off switches and black letting etc.
