"Forgotten password" request surprise

Twice in the last 48 hours I have had an email from Ebay in response to a request for a 'forgotten' password. Needless to say I did not send either request.
"If you did not forget your password, please ignore this email" is not exactly reassuring, as I wonder if somebody is trying to access my not very exciting account.
Has this happened to anybody else?

I had this last night, but I never log out so it was not me,
Someone has tried to log into your account on MoneySavingExpert.com Forums with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.
The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 86.20.98.248WWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0 -

Glad to know I'm not alone!
I have put the ip addresses into a search engine and both came up as Henan, China - rather a long way from my location!
