    Hi there,

Have been on a no buy since June and have stumbled onto this site.
Hoping to keep myself on the straight an narrow by reading about other folks not caving to the lure of lip gloss.

I have a thing for lipgloss as well. I've recently bought a Rimmel Apocolips coral colour & that is lovely.

Mine arrived a few days ago, Alcatraz Rocks, It's all San Andrea's Fault and Wharf, Wharf, Wharf. Wearing Alcatraz Rocks, love the colour, but very disappointed with the wear, only lasted two days and have 4 nails so badly chipped it will have to be changed tomorrow, it also stained a bit, but, I still love it :( Need to do fingers and toes tomorrow and have 5 new LD's to try too, might have to do skittles LOL

Have some UU's, but will wait until end of month, might have a few more by then.

I wore Essie Good 2 Go on top & mine was fine. Haven't seen the carpool one yet however it looks a lot like casino royale 2 me x

    Hi ladies,

Just caught up on the last few days, sorry to hear some have been having work woes, its a horrible feeling isn't it, I hope it all comes out in the wash and I'm sure it will - will be thinking of you.

No IN for a while now as there's really nothing I need, heading to Boots later but that's for makeup which I don't count as don't tend to stash - planning on trying the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation and the S&G lip gloss stick that someone kindly pointed out were on offer and recommended (sorry I can't remember who!) - I'm always up for a new lip gloss!! :D My car had three new tyres yesterday  so although I feel like a splurge, its going to have to be a fairly frugal one :rotfl:

Got a few outs, GA Liberty Hello Kitty Body Butter & Body Scrub, wanted to love these as fragrance and artwork is fab but the consistency of both is rubbish IMO have been trying to persevere but given up and gave to Mum, she can car boot etc if she doesn't like them. Also out is Lady Million perfume, feel awkward about this as it was a birthday gift from a friend but I'm 99% sure its a fake, I think she's probably got it off Ebay thinking it was a bargain and of course the site is awash with counterfeit stuff! It seems a shame to throw it out so I thought Mum could car boot it so its on a as seen basis, I wouldn't try and resell on Ebay but I'm not going to use it either :o

Enjoy the rest of the bank holiday weekend - I'm off to work but I don't mind as there's certainly the work and I really need the extra money at the moment, plus there'll only be me there :rotfl:

Hi VALM. Do you have a B&M or Home Bargains near you? I tend to get my cotton wool from there as it's good quality and considerably cheaper than Boots. I One of the two does large oval pads which I find amazing as I only tend to have to use one to take off my make up or cleanse.

Welcome jodisue! Alas, in my case it's not just the lip gloss. You sound treatable, although I recommend a daily support meeting by coming to this thread. Best of luck cold turkeying! ;)

Congratulations to those people close to graduating. It must be nice to be clutter free. I have just spent the last 15 minutes going around the house shouting at everyone (dog included) about all the mess, almost 5 weeks into the 6 weeks hols and the kids have created a god awful mess in every room.

You know what? It REALLY does! :D What's even better is that I have noticed the 'Do I really need that? / Will I genuinely get the chance to use that before it goes off?' mentality has carried over to other areas of my life and has created space in my flat for other things. I've got less clutter everywhere and I am genuinely delighted about it. :)

Have to confess to some ins - I will be parking myself on the naughty step for the evening with a currynd a glass of wine. [/QUOTE]

Curry and WINE on the naughty step? ! *Takes away curry and wine and replaces with porridge made with water* If we keep going like that and everyone will want to come on over. It will be a social club not a deterrent! :rotfl:

I agree Inapickle... I always bought the large cotton rounds/ovals from Boots or the Body Shop, but then in Homebargains a couple of months ago I picked up Johnsons baby pads (they are large squares) and cotton balls (big, big bag of them) for 99p each. They are just as good as the Boots ones, I think I actually prefer them... would recommend to all who get through alot but who don't like the cheapy stuff that malts everywhere x

Hi Pickle. Yes we have one nearby but unfortunately as I don't drive it would have been inconvenient today to get off bus to go there then get back on to go into town.

Did get 3 for 2 on the packs from Boot though.

Also bought a Pedi Pro which I've been considering for a while now and as Boots are offering 10 points to the £1. at the mo thought I'd get it. Have just given it a go and my feet do feel considerably smoother.

Have repainted my nails too and am wearing Essie Midnight Cami with OPI Alcatraz Rocks on my ring fingers.
