Thank you very much for all the kind words, virtual hugs and support. Feeling really down at the moment and it's really appreciated, such a nice lot! :) I'd strongly imagine a similar post on other threads would attract quite the opposite, there's trolls lurking out there!!

Welcome Sally , you've come to the right place, before the challenge I was forever buying stuff I didn't need simply on the basis that I didn't have a clue what I already had :o Its nice finding things and using them up and maybe finding products you'd buy again as they really work for you so when you do need to replace things its with products you know you really like.

I've an IN but its just a replacement for my hairspray that ran out - Tresemme Freeze Hold Hairspray, such good value at less than £5 for a big 500ml bottle. Feeling tempted to treat myself but might get some flowers and settle for a nice bath later as off to work now.

    Hello Sally!

I'm sending you my love emsjune. If you want to talk feel free to message me. Xx

My decree nisi is being pronounced next week. I've started to feel much happier recently, I was scared of suddenly being on my own again but it isn't nearly as bad as I thought!

I have gone a bit mental buying stuff recently, mainly because I've had more money because it wasn't being given to exOH! I nearly bought one of the new mac sets in the Trafford centre last night, walked away but I know I'll prob go and fawn over it again at some point!
  • My gloosybox has arrived! I'm pretty pleased with it this month, as it has one product I have been planning on buying, one product I have in my stash that's running out. One item will go in my fleabay box, and I'm have a think about whether to sell on the other two or not.

Will declare that as 4 INS this month!

    Welcome Sally :)

Hope you have some good friends and family around to support you emsjune. Pampering yourself sounds like a lovely idea :) I've said this many times before but I really love this thread. It's so supportive.

Time to declare my INS from the past few days :o in my defence, I do need most of them :A -

57: Nivea Daily Essentials Eye make up remover 125ml
58: La Roche Posay Effaclar Astringent Lotion 200ml
    59: VO5 Heat Protect Styling Spray 200ml
60: VO5 Plump It Up Dry Backcomb Spray 200ml - just looked at this again and it appears it is a dry shampoo? Bit annoyed about that as the bottle doesn't suggest this. I wanted more of a volume spray.

Last 3 are all new products I haven't tried before. Needed a new toner so thought the La Roche Posay would be a good one to try.

Welcome back VALM - lovely so see you here again.

Sorry to hear your sad news emsjune78. :grouphug:

I need your recommendations ladies. I am looking for a loose powder with an iridescent shimmer that I can use it on its own or over make up. My HG Clinique one has been discontinued :(

I wanted to post for emsjune but couldn't find the words to express myself. Your post however is so inspirational and I hope it does help emsjune. All I can say directly to you emsjune is to take care. We're all thinking of you on here.

That's a weird, a moment ago the multiple quote button was not there but now it is - magic!!

Our Glossybox has arrived too and I've been given a swift look before Emma blogs it! Her Blog is called Glitter and Wishes if anyone fancies following it. She came to work with me this morning as I needed help with photocopying (was off yesterday at a family funeral so am behind again!). She was brilliant and I'm going to try and get her more work experience with us if I can. Anyhoo as she wont' be paid I took her to Sally's and Boots and bought her some treats. Bought myself one of the new Rimmel Apocolips glosses as well. The only other thing that I bought for myself was a bottle of Pantene shampoo as the SA in Sally's recommended I try this to try and strip some of the new colour from my hair. Used Dark brown colour but it looked black when it developed and MrM said I looked like Morticia. My hairdresser also chastised me last night about it. Live and learn eh?

Was it the 'glow' one? That was my HG too :( I now use bare minerals loose mineral veil in illuminating:

Thanks for the welcomes everybody! I just unpacked everything and sorted it into piles then have written a list of everything...need to type it all up into some sort of spreadsheet (or is this way too organised? If not does anyone have a premade spreadsheet I could borrow/use?!) I currently have a list thats as long as 7 pages of A4...this is worse than I thought haha!!

Emsjune sorry to hear about your bad news *hugs*

I need to go and bake some cakes now but will be back with my list later!

Good afternoon ladies, I hope you're all well! Emsjune I'm so sorry to hear that, but pampering sounds like a perfect way to perk things back up and feel better :)

I have 6 INs :/ but, (of course there's always a but isn't there!) they were bargains!...

2 x Olay refreshing face wash. I tried this recently and it's one of the most gentle face washes I've ever tried, I was so happy that it didn't seem to make my face flare up like others have done before. I bought two of these as they were better than half price at £1.23 in Superdrug.

3 x M&S Age Defence Targeted Concentrate. This item has been on my "wish list" for a while to try out once my current one has run out, so when I spotted them reduced down to 50p a stick today I grabbed a few for me & a few for my mum! They usually cost about £9.00 each I think.

1 x Docteur Renaud Exfoliating Cream also bought from M&S. This was down from £22.50 to £2, so again, another great bargain I had to grab whilst it was there!

So a couple of INs, but at least they weren't full priced items :) hoping for some more UUs this evening to balance things out! Haha! :)
