Credit limit increase with circumstance change?

I took out a Tesco Clubcard credit card in November last year when I was still a student and was given a small £250 limit. I pay it off in full every month and have been using it for clubcard points on shopping and petrol.
I am now employed and have a decent salary of multiple times (3x) my student income. If I contact Tesco would I possibly be eligible for an increase due to my change of circumstances? I have heard they normally only consider increases after a year so am unsure.
Also would a change to my credit limit affect my 18 months 0% on purchases? If I did receive an increase I might utilise the interest free period to pay off a few larger purchases over a few months.

They should be happy to review it after six months so it won't hurt to call and ask.
It wouldn't affect your 0% on purchases offer, no.
They may ask for your income but the limit uplift they offer (if they offer one) will have more to do with how you've run the account than external factors.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Me personally would be applying somewhere else as sitting with a Tesco CC & £250 credit limit is just wasting your time IMO.0 -

That's not a bad idea actually especially given OllyM has confirmed Tesco's strict 12 month rule.
OP, Why not pop on over to the Barclaycard pre-application checker to see what cards they say you might be eligible for?

They are often generous with their limits, too.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
