    Thanks for the advice. £75k of the deposit is my cash, £25k from my partner. We will go and talk to a broker to establish if anyone will lend to us jointly.

    Would have been in your interests to clear the CCJ earlier. I cannot stress how potentially damaging it is on your credit file.

    Sorry one more question if anyone can help..... He had a debt management plan through cccs - would this affected his eligibility as a mortgage applicant?

    Probably. Obtain all three versions of credit file and place in front of broker.
