It is indoors, and to be honest we were very disappointed when we went. There were a couple of interesting parts, but after going to Legoland Windsor the previous year, this was a very different experience. If I remember correctly, there were about four phases, the final one being a room where the kids could play with Lego. It was utter chaos. It seemed to be aimed at younger children, so my then 11 year old felt very out of place. Children ran amok, throwing Lego pieces on occasion, and parents just sat around doing nothing. It was expensive for the poor experience we have, although I appreciate that the staff had nothing to do with the behaviour of the kids who were there.

We popped into the Trafford Centre for a drink before meeting up with the rest of our party - we had gone with a group - and all of the parents agreed that it wasn't worth the money.

yes, I had figured that and I suspect the children will be disappointed but I have been promising for 3 years they can go...and I have seriously discounted tickets through my union and we live less than 50 miles away so it's time to get on with it!
