budgeting loan

i have been on JSA for the last 8 months and partner has been on INCAP for last 12 months, we applied for a budgeting loan to get much needed furniture.
we were offerd 600 and ssent a reply slip to sign and send off, which we have.
now i have been offerd a long term temp job, which i accepted.
now, i will sign off monday as i start work monday night,
so will i still be entilted and payed the budgeting loan?
or will they say as i signing off, they will cancell the payment?
please enlighten me

    I dont think you will be entitled to it, I think it says on the letter something like if you find employment the payments have to be paid back in full, might be worth ringing up and cancelling it or send the cheque back.

    I don't think it will be payable but will depend when you will get paid etc most likely aswell. I know they used to just accept same payments previously if one was awarded and the claimant returned to work, might be worth contacting your local DSS office and asking them what the situation will be.

    You could try https://www.dontdumpthat.com or https://www.freecycle.org for furniture items.
