Wonga and Credit File Default date incorrect

Hi,
Wonga have just placed a default on my credit file.
They have defaulted me in Feb of 2012 when the account in fact defaulted in Sept 2011.
I've emailed them asking them to change the date. Where do I stand with this - I suspect they won't bother responding.
I'm not disputing the default just the date.
It matters to me as I have other defaults and am working hard to clean up my credit file. This default puts me a year behind all my other defaults.
Any advice? Anyone taken them on?
Thanks

Do it by writing as well.0

They are rats - they've waited all this time to default me and now they can't even get the date right.0

Just to correct, they have put you 5 months behind of all your defaults (sep 2011 -> Feb 2012).0

You have a right to have any inaccurate data amended. Your personal data should not stay on your credit file for longer than necessary and it should be processed fairly and lawfully.
Basically if you have evidence that the default was back in September 2011 they MUST correct it under the Data Protection Act, or be in breach of it, as per your rights as the Data Subject.0 -
Thanks I have emailed them -still waiting on a reply. But I will keep on at them. 5 months is still 5 months.0
