Anyone live or recently lived in this market town?

You seem to get a lot of property for your money, is their a reason for this?

My brother and his wife live near Watton. Its a nice place as far as I know.

Its got a nice little high street with some nice shops and a few takeaways.

Generally nice and quiet as far as I know. I never really see any problems reported in the local papers about it.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Well, our elderly neighbours 'retired' there :D, and I know it has an excellent care home where sadly the husband passed away recently.

Unfortunately we missed the funeral as the letter informing us that Stan had passed away didn't arrive.:(
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

The reason is that it is a very small town with little there and no local employment. Its not somewhere I would choose to live as any money saved on property price would soon be wiped out by the cost of those constant visits to Thetford, Swaffham or Norwich to access shops, services and amenities.
