Problems with ebookers - help needed!

Hi,

I've booked a trip to Las Vegas for me and my freind for 1 week with ebookers.com. We wanted to stay in the MGM grand and the price they offered was the best around so we booked it up.

A few weeks later I get an e-mail through saying that my flights have been altered to which I didn't mind too much. So a few months passes and my flight times have changed around 5 or 6 times and this started to annoy me so I gave ebookers a call.

They basically pointed the finger at the airline and said it wasn't them who was changing it. I let it go because the latest change actually benefited us quite well as flight home was 6 hours later wihch gave us to go out on our last night there.

3 days later, our flight was changed again....leaving 5 hours earlier.

So anyway I was trying to find out the max weight of the suit cases today so I looked at our original booking which stated we had booked a king bed room (basically 1 huge double bed...for me and fellow male freind) to which I was confused as I'm sure we were given the option to have an extra bed put the room.

Anyway I gave my pals at ebookers a call and asked about the second bed to which they re-assured me that we did indeed tick the option for an extra bed. So I was now happy again and the lady on the phone asked me if I wanted her to call the hotel just to make sure that everything was okay to which i said yes.

It turned out that everything wasn't okay.

Apparently the MGM Grand don't actually offer a second bed so the options were for me and freind to share a bed OR fork out £145 to upgrade our room which would contain 2 single beds. I was obviously annoyed but they lndian lady at the other end of the phone didn't seem to think this was a massive problem even though I said it was false advertsing. All she said was that she'll try and remove 'the option' from the website which doesn't help me now.

So I was wondering if anyone else has had this type of problem? If so what did you do?

My point of view is although the hotel and airlines can change what they like, we are customers of ebookers so ebookers should be doing their upmost to help us out and make us happy as we booked through them and not the airline or hotel themselves.

Thanks for reading.
Niki
