Yodel delivered but not delivered

I ordered something from Eurocarparts. After 12 days it had not arrived so I contacted them. They said it had been delivered via Yodel. I got a tracking number from them and it said it was delivered two days after I placed the order when both of us were at work. The tracking page does not say who signed for it or at what address. I have asked all the neighbours who usually take in parcels for me and they have seen nothing (they are not dodgy neighbours)

I paid using paypal and have opened a case.

Would yodel have proof of the signature? And do I have a case for a refund at all considering the vendor will hide behind the "it's been delivered line"?

Thanks

Yes, you do have a case for a refund. You need to contact the seller (as your contract is with them) and not chase Yodel yourself.

They may be reasonably amenable to sorting it out - if they use Yodel then this is likely to happen quite often - although there have been a few posts about Eurocarparts on here recently where they have had pretty poor customer service. But first step is to contact them.
