What size bowsaw?

To be honest, although I own a bow saw and a chain saw, I use an ordinary 20" rough cut saw for a lot of my hedging work. They cost about £6 and last for a winter.
I find I can go through wood up to about 4"-5" without many problems. It's a lot safer than using the chain saw and it gets into spaces where the bow saw won't fit.
 just a thought...:)
I agree, a bow saw is dam difficult to use and not that efficient, I have 1 but God knows why.
As you say B&Q and such like have/had an offer of 2 for a tenner on S&J hand saws recently, I'd go that way otherwise an electric crocodile saw, avoid a chainsaw, (which would be my weapon of choice), unless you have some skill and training.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
