Car insurance cover for medical expenses

There used to be a charge made if an ambulance attended the scene - I don't know if this is still the case - but back in the day that was what this cover tended to be for. I am going back to the 80's / early 90's though
There was in the 00's too but only if there was an at fault insurer to pick up the cost and it falls under the TP cover not first party medical expenses.0 -
