legal aid

my soon to be ex husband qualified for legal aid before it was not available for these purposes. we are both on DLA but because I also get some money through an income protection plan through my employers he has said his solicitor advised him that I would need to pay his costs back to DLA. I have had major problems getting any legal advice and have only now just got a appointment next week with citizens advice bureau. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the decree nissi that was held yesterday and so don't know whether any costs were awarded to my ex. Has anyone had any experience of this or may know if what he is saying is correct. Am worried silly as I have heard his costs are at least two thousand pound so far.

Did you read the divorce petition before signing it? Have you a copy of it? It will make reference to costs, which you may have agreed to by signing it.0
