Hello
Its my 1st post on here.......so here goes x
I used the ppi letter on here and sent off a letter to Halifax over my c/card i know i have had ppi with the card as i canceled it about a year ago but had the c/card for about 7-8 years.
I have just phoned them to see what was going on and they have told me i am not entited to a penny back!!!!
Is that the end shall i write another letter to them?
Shall i ring them to tell i am not happy with the reply?
Shall i ring them and tell them i am going to the
Financial ombudsman ?
Please help and point me in the right direction. thanks again

Ok let's start from the beginning.
What are the reason you now feel you were mis-sold your payment protection?0 -
What reasons did you give when you complained? "Having PPI" is not a reason, you need to show why you believe it was missold.
Any PPI paid would have been itemised separately on every monthly statement (if there was an outstanding balance) but you paid it for over 6 years before cancelling?0 -
Until you have it in writing and have the reasons they didn't uphold your complaint, we can't help.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Hello I havent had a letter from them yet still waiting but i phoned and was told over the phone that i wasn't entited to anything, was told that they came to that decsion on 17th july.
I used the letters that were here wrote in the letter that i never agreed to PPI and never asked for it to be added to my c/card.
I still have the card and still use it - i phoned and cancelled PPI ages ago, yes i paid it for over 6 years didnt realise what it was just through i had to have it.0
