uPVC Windows

I'm in need of six windows to replace a bunch of older wooden frames with misty panels (including a couple of single glazed windows )

What I've been quoted by a local firm (hooray, no huge chain sales tactics!) is:

Lounge window will be a fixed panel with a top hung opener above at a cost of £297.00

2 windows in hallway will be fixed windows at a cost of £310.00

Front bedroom window will be 2 top opening fanlights with a fixed panel underneath at a cost of £415.00

Back bedroom window will be top opening fanlight over a fixed panel at a cost of £315.00

Front ground floor window, will be a flat window with 2 top opening fanlights with a fixed underneath at a cost of £440.00

So a total cost of £1777.

Depending on the style of window, that seems like a good price I think. We have had a quote from a local company for 9 windows and 2 doors for £3000. Anglian and Safestyle were quoting us near £7000:eek:
