I was wondering whether the solution to my slow broadband problem could be solved by a 4G router
To start with - do they exist ?
I mean - a router that takes a SIM card - to pick up a 4G signal and routes it to PC's via Ethernet / wirelessly ???
This would be much faster than my 4Mbps broadband connection and cheaper than the other suggested solution - satellite
I am aware that most mobile phone contacts allow tethering and some allow you to set up a "portable hot spot" - but if you could physically insert a SIM in to a router - this would be better ....

Personally I would wait unit Vodafone and O2 release their 4G offering later this year as there maybe price competition on tariffs.0 -
Have you checked that you can get a decent 4G signal indoors so it'll work ?0
