Internet bathroom recommendations please

Hi, I am shortly getting a new bathroom put in and am looking at sourcing most things from the Internet.
I am doing it on a budget, and have been looking at the various online sites, better bathrooms, Victoria plumb etc etc. Many of the products have ratings which to be honest appear to be far too good to be true!
I'm looking for a free standing bath, with a basin and toilet. Also hoping to put in a separate shower and have seen what looks to be a reasonably priced twyfords offset quadrant.
Can anyone suggest any good online sites which I can have confidence in?
I live in Cheltenham, so if anyone also knows any good local retailers (again, looking for contemporary look on a budget), it would be great to have some recommendations.

Victoria plumb gets my vote BUT
Sometimes things arrive broken, but they have ALWAYS replaced them without question (nextday).
And in most cases they say just bin the broken item (even if it’s only got a scratch on it), which of course I don’t, I find some way of using it somewhere whichhides the fault.
So use them, but only if you have a few days before you absolutely need something onsite.
(they are perfect if you’re buying in advance for a project a few weeks away)0 -
We used bathstore, although we also attended in person as we were on holiday in London at the time. Didnt really need to though, just had a look around.
Very good price and service (well compared to here anyway!)0 -
Based on the thread title I was going to suggest a certain daily newspaper, but you come away feeling dirtier than you entered.0

Have you tried any local suppliers. I got mine recently done from trade supplier who sell direct to public too. Prices seemed reasonable and delivery is fairly quick.I managed to get 1800 acrylic bath, sink, toilet for under £200 inc taps and shower/tap thing which were well known brand. Plus I got a shower/tray/screen good quality but that did cost fair bit as I went for high quality0

I have used boundary bathrooms before, BUT I agree with savemoney in that if you can chat with a local trade supplier you can normally get a good deal and will be easier to sort if there is a problem.
The last bathroom items we got were from the local supplier who did us a great deal.Isle of Man mortgage free wannabe !!

We got a great suite from bathrooms.com. They kept us in touch about the delivery, arrived in great nick, we love it. Price was good and delivery was quick.0

I recently used the Big Bathroom shop. I bought a new loo and a basin. They don't charge for delivery unlike bathrooms.com. Fast delivery and I got a Quidco payment (already tracked).
Both arrived well packaged and undamaged."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0
