Why not just sit her on a nappy?Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.

Thats what we used to do. Worked great because they soak everything up and means LO isn't sat on a wet patch! They are also very useful for mopping up accidents elsewhere - they draw wet out of carpets brilliantly.

Personally I think its better as someone has already suggested to put a bin liner then a towel under the car seat cover. That way the child does not know that there is an emergemcy 'backup'.
What I mean is its no problem if they have an accident just change them etc don't make a fuss but I feel that if they know there is a safety net they may be more lapse about it IYSWIM.0 -

I had the buppy pads for mine & they were fantastic, fit in the carseat & the pushchair & she often has special offers on them.
plastic bags etc are a good idea aswell but i couldnt shake the rustle feeling.

I'd rethink the plastic bags- isn't there a risk that they would aid slipping in the car seat in the event of (god forbid!) an accident.
A good thickness of absorbent/fluffy towel should be enough to contain the wee.(like a nappy does)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Thanks for recommending my Buppy pads
This thread showed up in my stats so I thought I would have a nosey over here.
Im happy to offer a 10% discount on your first order but havent a clue where to post the code without getting told off for putting it in the wrong place.
I also offer free postage via my website.
if anyone wants to email me I would be happy to tell you the code and then you can post it on the right board if you want to or point me in the right direction.
Thanks

Fleece, it's absorbant and wont feel all wet and sticky like a plastic or a towel
I also think it's what alot of nappy wraps are made of now, well it was what I had 3 years ago, loved it!
