Hi all!
My daughter wants to go to Blackpool 11th Oct till 13th for her birthday to go to Pleasure Beach.
Can anyone suggest a decent b & b up that end. I am getting pretty expensive prices for both night at present on the comparison websites.

If you go to Blackpool, go to a reasonably priced hotel if you can., go for a cheap bed and breakfast at your peril. It will be full of chavs, tarts, drunkards, and that's only the women......
Hen Nights, Stag nights and all that they bring with them.
Awful awful place.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Awful awful place.
Not an awful place, awful visitors, with atrocious behavior.
What is your budget?0 -
Blackpool is an awesome place, love it. Appreciate it does get some idiots who visit it, but touch wood, I have never had any problems.
£50 a night is probably the max I want to pay, was hoping for less given I really dont want anything special. Family room with en suite is all.0 -
Check out TripAdvisor. I know the reviews can be skewed, but I've just got back from the no1 rated B&B and can say that the reviews are very fair for it. We had a family room for the three of us.
Blackpool is, well, each to their own, but if your daughter wants to go (as ours did) you can't really say no. We went for the Pleasure Beach only. Two nights cost us £130 so a bit above your budget but the accommodation was worth that bit extra for me and would tick your requirements.0 -
have you checked Travelodge?
I have stayed in blackpool for £20-25 per room / per night.0 -

Both Travelodges (South Shore and south Promenade) are currently showing up at over £80 a night for the dates the OP wants- its a weekend during the illuminations so not a good time to get cheap rooms.
The Lytham one is showing at £36 + £69, but you need to factor in the cost of buses / taxis to get into Blackpool from there.0 -
I have booked this... looks like a good deal and has good reviews

As you say, my daughters bday is during illumination season so the TL want more than usual.0 -
I like this site:

I tried putting your dates in for Blackpool. Lots came up, I sorted by cheapest first, cheapest was an apartment (so bed, but no breakfast at £50 a night for family room); Bridle Lodge, also with decent reviews.
Bit further down, Homeleigh Hotel offering B&B for family (4) at £56 a night. Only 1 review, but a good one. Free parking, close to Pleasure beach.
Several other choices close to your budget. HTH
Keep Smiling
