Am I right in thinking that I'm not entitled?

Hello

I currently earn £28,000 per year and my wife earns £10,000 per year. As she takes our 1 Year old Baby to work (she works as a Nanny) we do not pay child care costs although she has to take a job with a reduced income because she takes the baby.

Does that mean that we are neither entitled to Working Tax credits or Child Tax credits.

Many thanks in advance.

the limit for ctc is 26k (with 1 child) and the limit for wtc is around 18k for a couple ( without disabilities or childcare costs), so no, you wouldnt be entitled
