    We saw that programme too (one evening last week, I'm guessing they repeated it).
    We were put off 'hopping across the border' for a day, from San Diego, as there had been an outbreak of dysentery in Tijuana :eek: but we had been in two minds about doing it anyway, due to the long queues to get back into the USA.
    I'm not sure that we missed much :cool:

    I did the crossing 5 months ago. Queues back were maybe 30 minutes, but looked like they'd take longer. But you're right, you didn't miss much. May have been a party town 10 years back, but pretty dead now.

    Sorry to hijack thread ,I was wondering if anyone has any experience of Thomas Cook classic Eastern Spirit Tour of Usa & Canada , OH and I are considering it for Next year.

    I still have the leather sports holdall I bought back in 1992 ! Still going strong - a proper bargain.:D
