I know they don't have the best reputation, but I've never had any issues until now. I bought a deal for £24 in April, I have tried numerous times to get in touch with the salon (its a beauty deal) and have ben unable to get an appointment, I contacted Living Social (deal runs out in 14 days) last week and advised them of this, and was basically told 'tough'. It's not their problem. Isn't it against some kind of rules that they're promoting something that is not being fullfilled.

Anyone had any joy getting money back from them? I've noticed they've taken away the option to post on their facebook wall now.

Keep complaining and you are likely to eventually get your money back. I've found with all of these deal websites that they try to fob you off initially but in the end a justified complaint should be refunded.

Would you be able to get something in writing from the salon stating that they don't have appointments available?

I can't get in touch with the salon at all now. They just don't answer the phone. I've taken to Twitter, seeing at Living Social are no longer replying to my emails

Have you tried going to the salon in person to make the booking?
