I'm going to draft up a business plan and put in for the original idea with the van or doing it from home as a back up plan. I shall keep you updated!

The buffet and events is looking like where we would make most especially now the weather will start to turn!

for business plans you should take a look at the Business Plan Pro software by the (now bankrupt or closed) Palo Alto company.

It has a bunch of very simple advice and is all pre-set to give you a really great outcome

Ukh, Business Plan Pro was and is the biggest rip off. No use anyone looking to put a large scale plan together if they have no concept of how a P & L is brought about, a Cash Flow Forecast, how a Balance Sheet can make a firm look insolvent in one format, or very profitable in another. I have lost count the amount of times a 45 page plan was put in front of me that had no credible research, figures that did not stand up, or what a SWOT is.

Far better just to do a plan from a free bank download. Anything more in depth should be done by people who know what they are doing. Otherwise there's a massive chance it will be screwed up.
