Crete or Turkey - late October

Hello

Myself, my Mum, her friend and daughter are all wanting to go on holiday in October, looking like end October due to commitments etc.

We are looking at the following hotels, has anyone stayed at them? Or able to recommend any similar.

Nana Beach Hotel, Hersonissos, Crete

Crete without a shadow of a doubt in my mind. Gotta rush now so can't add much more. Greece all the way!

The transfer from Antalya to Alanya is about 2 hours, possibly more with drop-offs on the way.
Why not stay in Lara Beach, which is v.close to Antalya Airport?

I don't know about Turkey, but Crete will be closing down for winter by late October.

It's the only time I can go not too bothered if quiet just want a break and change if scenery

Just checked out the link JohnWilliam as I am looking for a fightl for 26th Oct. Manchester to Lanzarote nearly £1100 each just for a flight!

Further to my last post. No specifically looking for Lanzarote just somewhere warm for the Half term week, flying any North west airport. I did find flight on the saturday 26th to Lanzarote from Leeds Bradford for £328 thats why I was shocked on that site that they ranged from £1095 up to 3k for same date!

I don't understand how they can be the best prices when I found flight for £328 and this companies cheapest was £1095!!
