I'm looking for a reliable quartz kitchen worktop supplier, preferably one who would send out samples beforehand and/or has a showroom. We currently have granite but are thinking of moving to quartz and it seems to be cheaper bought directly or online rather than as part of the 'kitchen deal'.
We also have to lay engineered click system oak flooring with decent acoustic underlay, in our flat. Does anyone have any recommendations? thanks

I don't understand, if this a fashion thing? if so I'll butt out.
Never heard of anyone wanting to change a stone worktop for another one
Or are you saying you are replacing the whole kitchen, inc the worktopsI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
we have to do a new kitchen in order to move our boiler (long story) and the old granite worktop will be destroyed and/or won't fit.

Not a direct answer, but avoid Bellagio Stone, and colleagues give a poor feedback on OMG.0

Having extensively researched engineered oak flooring I was about to set off to specialist suppliers in Suffolk... when 'er indoors pointed out a local retailer in SE London - http://www.blackheathinteriors.com/ 020 8297 9600.
Who gave me a great deal on almost 40 Msq of hi-spec rustic brushed, oiled oak, but they have lots of other samples and specs and can get anything-
and the woman who owns this small business is great at explaining the product without patronisng or baffling us. We're so pleased with it we now want similar upstairs and having subsequently taken a quote I wish I'd also used them to fit...
So wheter or not you can pop in, I'd recommend shopping local and negotiating on price0 -
The website is a shocker though....:rotfl:0
