uPVC front door repair

I have discovered a small hole on the moulding on the inside of the panel of my white uPVC front door where i assume it's been hit by something. Not that big ...maybe 6-7mm diameter at most. What is the best product to fill it with ?

I would simply fill it with white silicone sealant, it seems purely cosmetic.
There are hard setting compounds for pvc repairs, but I suggest it mat not be worth bothering. as you have only just noticed.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
