    Thanks katzen,

Never thought to try amazon, we sometimes go to Costco for the cat and dog food as its certainly cheaper then 73p a tin.

Think I will start freezing bread, do you take it out the night before you want to use it? How long does the milk keep once its defrosted? Thanks

So far today, I have transferred the overtime money out of current account.

Been to supermarket and spent £110.22, this new school stuff and cereals and tinned things that will last longer than the week. Apparently my branded shop was £7.20 cheaper, I just wish it listed where these saving came from.

Paid the minimum from my lloyds card this morning but going to pay off extra through the month.

I'm a bit obsessed with checking Internet banking every morning and because of this I can see how much cash the OH has taken out. So Wednesday he takes out £10 then yesterday another £30 so £40 in 2 days. I'm so mad as he seemed to be on board re the paying stuff off quicker but the he is taking money out willy nilly. Don't get me wrong if we were in a position for him to do this I would not grudge him taking this money out, but we ain't in a position for him to be doing this grrrre.

Sitting thinking about it this morning and tbh it'd really pi**ed me off. I could have used £20 of this to do something fun with our children but instead we only manage to do the free things in life. I mean just imagine if I took out the same amount in cash evey week as him, we would be in a much darker place. Just as well I don't need much in life but its made me feel annoyed and tearful this morning.

While I'm having a rant I might as well get it all out, on my birthday I didn't want a present but wanted to go on a specific day trip that would cost less than £50 for all of us including food. On pay day he takes out £50, muggins here thinks perhaps I'll actually get a pressie no, instead comes to my bday and there isn't enough money to put petrol in car never mind my day trip, so petrol put in on CC and a cheaper alternative for the day. He says just the other night that he felt guilty about not getting me anything my response "just as well I'm not materialistic", but inside I feel like sobbing. I'm going to stop now as its making me more upset.

Not much to report a spend of £19.94 at Mr. T this morning on milk, bread, eggs, bananas, apples a wee stationary kit for DD and nappies(which will hopefully last 2 weeks).

Proud that I didn't got looking down all the isles as this would have definitely added to the shopping total.

One item sold on eBay and another finishing tomorrow, only small items but hopefully make about £3.

Really need to get I top of the eBay stuff as I've got two huge bags of stuff to get through never mind the other stuff I can find to sell on. It's the motivation that is the problem.

Aim for this coming week, get some motivation and get selling, selling, selling.

It's been a long time since I've updated, but I've been tracking the debts going down in my signature. I'm back at work and our income has dropped by £200 a month, so things are quite desperate.

I didn't make any headway selling things on eBay or cutting back the food shopping but we are now in a position where we don't have a choice.

I'm meal planning for a month in advance which is helping to use stuff up and also for budgeting.

Just want this month to be over already, not a present bought and don't know where we are going to find the money, as long as my wee ones have some bits and pieces to open I'll be happy.

Merry Christmas everyone, so just a quick update, I have not spent a single penny on my credit cards this year for Christmas presents or food or anything. I am so pleased with my commitment and self restraint. I almost wavered when I thought my children didn't have that much to open but do you know what, neither if them bothered at all they were more than pleased with what they got.

I've got about £200 in money for my Christmas and I am going to treat myself but I just don't know to what yet. Why is it though when you don't have money there is always numerous things you think you want or need but as soon as you get a wee bit of spending money you cannot think of anything you actually want.......
