Old Credit Card but have lost the details!

I had a credit card which was opened in November 2008 which I thought I had closed in January 2009.
I have recently checked my credit report and Noodle state that this account is still active. I have since moved but it still has my original address on this.
I wrote to the credit card company stating that I would like the account closed but they have now written back stating that I need to provide the full account details which I no longer have.
I have rang the helpline but they won't help as I don't have an account number.
Anyone have any ideas on how to close this account?

Did you used to pay by DD? Some of my credit cards have the reference for the DD as the card number so shows on my online banking DD list and on statements.
Beyond that you could do a Data Protection Act SARS request which should reveal it but cost you $10
Finally, have you tried using the online banking? With some of mine it uses different details to log in so could remember them even after forgetting the rest of the account details0 -
Unfortunately I did not do a Direct debit as it was only for a few purchases so paid off straight away.
I guess I will have to pay the £10.0
