they haven't exactly pretended to be a lender, they ARE a lender, just so happens under the same umbrella as another lender that you owed money to.

If someone offers you something, it doesn't mean you can just take it without consequence. Whatever, it's your life and you will soon realise what goes around comes around. Your way of thinking will bite you in the backside

I don't have to agree with the OP's attitude to think that what the PDL did was wrong.
