Advice On Credit Card Needed

Hello

I am looking for a Credit Card with around a £1,000 limit which can go higher once I show them I can be trusted etc.

Only problem is that we have a bad credit after being made redundant in 2009 and got into some financial problems.

Is there any good Credit Card companies out there that accept people with bad credit etc?

Probably not but worth a shot asking.

Thanks in advance.

Are there any good companies out there who except people with bad credit? Well if they were I'm sure 99.9% of them would of went bust.

That doesn't define why you've got "bad credit".

How many missed payments?...arrangements to pay?...defaults?...CCJs?...across how many different credit lines?

You don't have a "credit score". Some CRAs will sell you a number. This will make you feel good, or make you feel bad. But it's just a number.

What's more important is what's on your credit file (ie the raw data) because this is what the lenders use to determine whether to offer you a card and what credit limit/APR to assign.
