Burglar alarm, existing ADT in new house...Options?

  • Since ADT took over the security firm who originally installed my alarm system, the service price has, over the years, become ridiculous for the one yearly check. I am considering cancelling the contract but do not have a customer agreement with terms and conditions. There is nothing on their web site to help. What, if any is the notice that I need to give to cancel? We have had the system through them from at least 2006. Where can I get a copy of the terms and conditions or does anyone know how much notice is reqd....I did find 3 months mentioned on one discussion board?
  • Sorry, if not obvious from my above post... the system is 'bell only' no monitoring or anything else. With one yearly service.
