Reclaim PPI from Paymentshield

Hi, I was advised I should get Accident & Sickness with Paymentshield by our mortgage advisor because I'm a stonemason, I understand I'm probably not eligible for a refund but I did have 3 months off with a broken big toe in September 2008 and didn't think to claim at the time, would I be able to backdate a claim now?

What you describe is not a mis-sale complaint (reclaim). It sounds like a claim on the policy.
I suspect you are too far back to put a claim in. It really depends on how good the GP records are, what your books showed as income for that period and whether paymentshield are willing to consider a claim from that long ago.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
