Employment rights - constructive dismissal?

Forget about others, what is your complaint about your situation? Are you saying you cannot handle the job?
The 2 issues are inextricably interlinked so am not able to answer your question in isolation. Thanks for the feedback, was hoping for constructive advice as to how to remedy the situation.0 -
Negotiation is the only possible remedy. You have no legal right to be treated the same as your "peers".The 2 issues are inextricably interlinked so am not able to answer your question in isolation. Thanks for the feedback, was hoping for constructive advice as to how to remedy the situation.0 -
I maybe making heavy weather of detailing my issue, let me try and put things in another way - if I had 10 operators working for me doing exactly the same job function and I gave 9 of them the target of making 100 units a day but gave the tenth one the target of making 300 a day and held that person accountable I can guarantee in any company the Union would be quickly knocking at my door - especially if the tenth person was going to be disciplined for poor output, not achieving targets, being overloaded and stressed and especially if there was no valid reason why they were being targeted differently to their peers - why should this scenario be different with myself?0

I the above situation the Union may very well have something to say. But your original questioned asked about "rights". There is no legal "right" for workers to be treated equally. If you are in a union speak to them, if not negotiate with your employer or resign and go somewhere else.I maybe making heavy weather of detailing my issue, let me try and put things in another way - if I had 10 operators working for me doing exactly the same job function and I gave 9 of them the target of making 100 units a day but gave the tenth one the target of making 300 a day and held that person accountable I can guarantee in any company the Union would be quickly knocking at my door - especially if the tenth person was going to be disciplined for poor output, not achieving targets, being overloaded and stressed and especially if there was no valid reason why they were being targeted differently to their peers - why should this scenario be different with myself?
You can have a team of say ten people all doing the same job with some earning twice what others are and getting better perks and conditions, unless there is an illegal reason why all they can do is negotiate for better terms.
You really do need to get away from worrying about what others are getting and concentrate on your own situation.0
