I have recently been receiving emails in my junk box from my own email address.
When I click on block sender, it is my email address that is showing as the sender.
Not sure what is happening/what I can do about it. Should I just delete my email account & set up another?

Check the email headers to trace where the actual email is being sent from.
Its a common thing. Randomly generate an email or take from from a spammers list and send it from what appears to be your own address.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
There's no security checks built in to the email header fields, so you can make an email appear to come from any address you like -- even an email address that doesn't actually exist. Showing the "from" address as being the same as the "to" address is just a trick used by spammers to try to get through spam filters.
I'd just mark it as spam (if you have your own spam filters) and delete it. If I deleted my email account every time I received spam, I'd have to get a new one every few days!0 -
Ah right..so it isn't really anything to get concerned about?
The emails go direct to my junk box & I just block them from there. I never open emails from sources I don't recognize anyway.0
