I was talking to someone recently who said they had about 30 years ago a Rolls Canardly.

Does anyone have any details or what it looked like?

    I remember them.

Oh, by the way, could you possibly pop and get me some tartan paint, and some bubbles for my spirit level?
And that my son, is how to waft a towel!

He can't. He's been sent to the other office for a long weight.
Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!

Can you help me identify another popular car of the era? It had wooden doors, wooden wheels, a wooden engine and wooden go.

The laugh is - my children actually found a tin of elbow grease many years ago - bought it for me one Xmas, I still have it upstairs somewhere!!

It was made by Body Shop, and was supposed to soften the hard skin on your elbows.

There is such a thing, for hanging a chain block from an "I" beam.
We used to send apprentices for a bucket of steam or a "talk" spanner.

Tin of high compression diesel oil was another one for our young apprentices, storesman used to fill a gallon can with water and send him back after the usual long wait.

Haven't heard that for ages, cars are getting too damn good. Don't go mocking the old 1200 Lada though, I made plenty money from them in the day by fixing "wrecked" engines in 5 minutes tops.

Did the drivers have to wear blue hats and red jackets?
