Holiday near a nice sandy beach for family of 4 and little dog!

As the title suggests, we are looking for a short break 3-7 days from 16th August for 2 adults and 2 kids aged 12 & 10 and a small dog near a nice sandy beach.

Any ideas folks? :)

South Wales is great around the Tenby Area . We are North Wales and never get tired of finding new beaches to walk our dog around here. Dinas Dinnle is fantastic

Just along the coast from Sheringham is a place called Wells-next-the-Sea. The tide goes out about a mile and it's all sand.

Cromer has a mostly sandy beach whereas Sheringham's tends to be pebbly. They're both backed by cliffs which provide some great views.
