Films with poor storylines

I watched Superbad and The Final Destination this weekend. I've seen Superbad before and the other three Final Destinations but not this one. It struck me afterwards how poor some parts of the film are, do the producers think we're stupid? Two examples;
In Superbad right at the end you see Jonah Hill and Michael Cera in a Mall with two girls. All four were really, really drunk the night before (drinking neat vodka out of the bottle) but none have any hangover whatsoever!
In The Final Destination, at the start there's a family of four at the race track, mum, dad and two young boys. All four escape the carnage at the race track and survive, therefore Death is chasing them. Only the mum dies in the film even though all four survived!!
Maybe I'm just too observant :rotfl:
Any other producer !!!! up examples?

Um. Is this the right board for this? Maybe The Arms - well, assuming you won't get slated for giving away plotlines?
In any case it is perfectly possible to not have hangovers, particularly with vodka. And perhaps it was never the other family members' time, so there would be no need to chase the others.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

I haven't seen Superbad, but the Final Destination one isn't a plot hole. Death comes after people who cheated him. If the family would have survived anyway then they're not in danger from death.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

I think you're expecting far too much from the (4th? 5th?) sequel of a mediocre teen horror film.
Are you one of these people who points out continuity errors in films about time travel and superheroes? You're supposed to relax and suspend disbelief.0 -
If you will watch rubbish films ..........:-D0

Was the mall scene in Superbad definitely the day after the party though? Unless it was explicitly stated it could have been a few days after.
Having said that, out of the four of them, I only remember the one girl drinking loads. The other girl didn't drink anything, and the boys were late to the party so wouldn't have had the chance to drink that much I reckon.0
