Hello.
Sorry, thought it was enough. i'll try to add more.
I live in ukraine, i'm not resident of UK and not planning to visit it in near future. The LTD company is formed in UK and i need a business account for it. Everywhere i asked - it is necessary to visit branch for face to face appointment, and/or place a 5000£ deposit.
I'm trying to find if there is an opportunity to do it remotely by phone (and by sending docs via dhl or ups courier). 2000£ deposit is maximum i can allow to place on account for a start.0 -
I doubt you'd get very far with running a business with only an address and a bank account in the UK. May be try Liechtenstein or Monaco or one of the carribean islands.0

Why not open an account in Ukraine?
Indeed, and OP, for future reference, the £ sign goes before the figure in the UK (£5,000, not 5,000£)0 -

It may do in the UK however many countries in the EU put the £ or € after the amount.
so 500£ would be an acceptable manner to write it as would 500€Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -

Accepted...but it's not the norm here...and Ukraine isn't in the EU anyhow...0
