DRO's and Bank Accounts

I am about to apply for a DRO, none of my creditors are my curent banks.

Does a DRO effect your bank account in the same way as Bankruptcy? ie. can my accounts be closed by my banks on approvl of DRO?

Hi,

It is up to your bank if they close your account following your DRO. Any bank you do not have a debt with will not receive automatic notification of it but some have links with Experian.
If your account is closed then you could open one with Barclays or perhaps the credit union.
