Television Problem

Hello all. I have a Daewoo DTY 2880 GB that is causing a problem. Not a peep out of it and then today the Standby light just flashes red/green and no picture or sound. I have refered to the manual and it states that it has the child lock activated. Try as I might, I cannot seem to get the lock off. If I turn it off at the mains supply and then turn it on, the frequency of the LED flashing changes. Any clues people?

When something happens to our tvs I phone the tv repair place and they give me an 'idea' of what they think it is and if its worth repairing...obviously without looking at it (which they will charge you for doing) they can't be 100% but at least you will have an idea.

what is so frustrating is that it is mentioned in the manual as a child lock !!!! OK it stops kids from playing with it but how the heck do you get the thing off !!!!!!! I read a small section on a web site that it can also be an underlying fault that requires repairs to the "card" .... I hope not .... I have emailed Daewoo here in the UK to see if they can shed any light on the matter ... no reply as yet ..... :mad:

Yep already tried it without success :mad:
That was one of the few sites that list any sort of problem with it
