Ebay has been a mess lately, transactions do keep disappearing for me!0

My mystery is solved...she bought three things and paid in 3 transactions but two items will go into same box. So I refunded one lot of postage and sent a message explaining why there was a refund.
She thought I was saying one item wasn't being sent and she is delighted that I actually meant that she gets all 3 items *and * a refund, apparently no one has even done that before.
She has also left me 3 lots of glowing feedback!
Incidentally, she has over 400 feedback as a buyer.....I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Agreed. I had someone buy 4 things around 1am, pay in 4 transactions and then send me a snotty message demanding I refund the overcharged postage immediately.
Despite the fact that he's incurred me 4 x paypal fees of course.
I think I need to go and buy some chocolate. Or maybe wine.0 -
Good to hear you solved it.
Tbh ive got over 1100 transactions on my account and only on a few occassions has a seller refunded the postal difference.0 -
She is also the second person this month to leave me feedback before I'd even posted their goods!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm always impressed when a seller does that, Soolin. In fact, I was recently slightly confused by a partial refund when I bought a couple of items from a US seller. When I emailed them to check, they explained that they were combining postage for me - it was already a very reasonable shipping cost and even more so with the refund.
(I hadn't asked for combined postage as they were 2 items I desperately needed as soon as possible - only available from the US - and I didn't want to delay things, preferring to quickly press the Buy It Now buttons.)
Their reply was lovely and so helpful. I'll definitely be buying from them again. Spontaneous little touches like that are what make me buy from a seller time and again.0 -
I had a person who won two auctions of my and paid me separately, just the other week
I parcelled them up together and popped In a couple of stamps in respect of a postage refund, to save messing around with a PayPal refund.
If a person wants to buy two things from me that's great, but I do wish they'd wait for the combined invoice before paying!Early retired - 18th December 2014

If the buyer is using a mobile app they can't always pay for items together.
I won some items off a seller from china which were between 15 and 20p each but was unable to pay for them together so had to pay individually, which ment the seller paid more in fees than I paid them.
They still sent my items thoughS.P.C member 1662 - target £3000
