Defaults registering

Hello, this is my first post and need some advice please. I have a default on my callcredit file that initially was defaulted on April 2011.
I have since noticed the default date has changed to November 2012 which I don't understand as the file clearly shows account first defaulted in April 2011.
This seems unfair and wrong to me as this would mean the lender can change the date when they want and you would have the default on your file for the rest of my life.
Also this debt has been sold on twice and the other company has not recorded any information so surely the original record should be either deleted, satisfied or settled.
Can anyone help please?

The date of default should be that of the date you FIRST defaulted and should never be changed to a later debt - you will need to write to the appropriate Credit Reference Agency to get the date changed.
As you have admitted the default why should it be removed ?
A default was registered because you could not honour the credit agreement and it will stay on file for 6 years.
Just because someone made an error it doesnt mean that it will be wiped.0 -
Complain, in writing, tell them to correct it.
Look at the ICO default guidelines sticky post for reasoning.:beer:0
