Paypal card

I have done a search but can't find anything on this.

I am going to try to sell lots of ebay but I always struggle that I can never afford the post coming out of my current account. I know I can transfer the money but I like to keep the profit in paypal until it gets to a certain amount as I want to use it to pay off a credit card. I used to print out postage labels but felt really guilty when the lady at my local office said they do not get any payment for processing these.

How do I apply for one of the paypal cards you can get, does anyone have one. how do they work? are there any charges to use it?

I believe they're still invitation only. Why not just set up a new bank account to transfer money to and send payments from?

If you are using a paypal card you are using your paypal balance, so it might be simpler, at least at first, to just transfer enough money to your bank account to cover each days postage costs. Then use your normal bank card at PO.

Postage costs should always be known in advance and should never be a shock, so if you have say 5 parcels at say £2.60 each just transfer £13 across before you go to PO.

Thanks I could do that but would that seen as I was setting up a business. I am only going to be selling my own bits and pieces.

We have a paypal card and it is much easier and simpler to just use this as the money should be there already. The only downside is that we are finding a few places don't seem to accept the card. I think its mostly places that want to pre-approve the card before taking the money like petrol stations. Also they charge you for taking money out at ATM but still free to transfer to bank account or use the card for purchases.

I doubt it. Many people have more than one personal bank account and keep various incomes/outgoings separate.
