I got the letter saying I would be getting new card within 3 months as they (hsbc) have changed the account slightly
No card has arrived as yet and I can't find the letter to work out when 3 months is up.
Has anyone got their new card yet ?
Cheers

If you had checked the forum there had already been a few posts about this a few months ago.
I guess they will get around to there existing basic account holders as and when they can.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -
Yes, I did do a search but the TWO threads that I did see, were dated back in April and mentioned that the OPs rang up and got their accounts/cards upgraded.
I have not rang up to get my account/card upgraded, I got a letter telling me that the card was going to be upgraded .. slightly different from the threads I found, hence a new thread asking my own question0 -
Could anyone direct me to the place that says MSE does not allow more than one thread on the same subject?0

Nice play on words.
All I did was send a secure message to get my card replaced once I was aware that these letters were going out.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -

HSBC are only updating cashcards, which is what you got with a basic account to debit cards.
These are NOT contactless. Although they do work in Pay @ Pump.
If you only have a auth all card. Then only FD's credit team would apporove a non auth all card.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
Kind of what I thought0
